Role Overview
We are seeking a senior commercial leader to spearhead Scimplify’s expansion into North America. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, strategic professional who can go beyond sales—building new markets, forging long-term partnerships, setting up operational frameworks, and driving Scimplify’s global growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and export plans for North America across key chemical verticals.
  • Lead business development and client acquisition initiatives to establish Scimplify’s presence in the region.
  • Build and scale partnerships with distributors, and key clients, ensuring repeat and long-term business.
  • Drive revenue growth through market penetration, upselling, and structured account management.
  • Set up operational and compliance frameworks aligned with international trade and regulatory standards.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, innovations, and competitive dynamics in the chemical sector to maintain market leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in international sales, business development, or leadership roles within the chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the North American chemical markets, customer applications, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Track record of consistently achieving (and exceeding) revenue and market expansion targets.
  • Deep understanding of chemical applications across pharmaceutical, agrochemical, industrial, or personal/home care verticals.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Established network of distributors, and clients in North America (highly desirable).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to set up and scale new business units in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
