Role Summary
The Lab & Facility Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of laboratory administrative operations, facility management, compliance documentation, and procurement activities. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory authorities to maintain an efficient, safe, and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day laboratory administration, facility operations, and front-desk coordination.
- Coordinate with building management, IT, housekeeping, security, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management of laboratory supplies, consumables, stationery, and office essentials.
- Maintain records and asset registers for laboratory equipment, furniture, and IT hardware.
- Manage and organize laboratory documentation, including SOPs, contracts, licenses, insurance records, and statutory documents.
- Support the acquisition and renewal of regulatory permits, registrations, and compliance-related approvals.
- Track compliance calendars and ensure timely renewals of licenses, certifications, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate procurement activities, vendor onboarding, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, expense tracking, and payment processing.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices.
- Prepare and maintain operational, procurement, inventory, and compliance reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in laboratory, R&D, manufacturing, healthcare, or life sciences environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, audits, and vendor management processes.
- Knowledge of procurement and facility management best practices.
