About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Head to lead and grow our Oil & Gas Chemicals business.
The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial background in supplying specialty and performance
chemicals to the oil & gas industry, with proven experience in business development, strategic account
management, and P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute the business strategy for the Oil & Gas Chemicals vertical.
● Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall P&L performance.
● Build strategic relationships with oil & gas companies, chemical formulators, service providers,
refineries, petrochemical companies, and distributors.
● Expand the portfolio of specialty chemicals and performance additives used across upstream,
midstream, and downstream oil & gas applications.
● Identify new business opportunities, supplier partnerships, and market segments.
● Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.
● Collaborate with R&D, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific chemical
solutions.
● Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
Preferred Background
● 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Performance
Chemicals, or Industrial Chemicals.
● Strong understanding of specialty chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, scale
inhibitors, paraffin inhibitors, drag reducing agents, biocides, H2S scavengers, production
chemicals, refinery process chemicals, and fuel additives.
● Proven experience selling specialty chemicals to oil & gas operators, refineries, petrochemical
companies, or oilfield service providers.
● Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with P&L ownership.
