About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Head – Water Treatment Chemicals to lead and grow our
specialty chemicals business serving the water treatment industry. The ideal candidate should have a
strong commercial background in selling process and specialty chemicals that are used in industrial water
treatment applications, with proven experience in business development, customer acquisition, and P&L
management.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Water Treatment Chemicals business.
● Drive revenue, profitability, and overall P&L performance.
● Build relationships with industrial customers, chemical distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and water
treatment solution providers.
● Expand the portfolio of specialty chemicals used in boiler water, cooling water, wastewater, and
membrane treatment applications.
● Identify new business opportunities, supplier partnerships, and market segments.
● Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.
● Collaborate with R&D, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific chemical
solutions.
● Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
Preferred Background
● 8+ years of experience in Water Treatment Chemicals, Process Chemicals, Specialty
Chemicals, or Industrial Chemicals.
● Hands-on commercial experience selling chemicals such as coagulants, flocculants, antiscalants,
corrosion inhibitors, biocides, membrane treatment chemicals, boiler water chemicals, cooling
water chemicals, and wastewater treatment chemicals.
● Proven experience in business development, key account management, and P&L ownership.
● Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
