About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Head to lead and grow our Raw Materials for Construction
Chemicals business. The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial background in supplying
specialty and performance chemicals to construction chemical manufacturers, with proven experience in
business development, strategic account management, and P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute the business strategy for the Construction Chemicals Raw Materials
vertical.
● Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall P&L performance.
● Build strategic relationships with construction chemical manufacturers, formulators, distributors,
and key industry stakeholders.
● Expand the portfolio of specialty raw materials and performance additives used in construction
chemical formulations.
● Identify new business opportunities, supplier partnerships, and market segments.
● Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.
● Collaborate with R&D, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific raw material
solutions.
● Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
Preferred Background
● 8+ years of experience in Specialty Chemicals, Performance Chemicals, Chemical Raw
Materials, or Construction Chemical Raw Materials.
● Strong understanding of raw materials such as acrylic emulsions, epoxy resins, polyurethane
systems, polycarboxylate ethers (PCEs), redispersible polymer powders, defoamers, dispersants,
rheology modifiers, silanes, pigments, fillers, plasticizers, and other formulation additives used in
construction chemicals.
● Proven experience selling raw materials to construction chemical manufacturers.
● Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with P&L ownership.
