Role Overview

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage and optimize end-to-end logistics operations in the US, including transportation, warehousing, imports/exports, inventory movement, and sample logistics.
The role will act as the key link between the US Sales team and India-based Exim/Operations team, while managing external logistics partners such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end US logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, imports, exports, and customer deliveries.
  • Act as the key liaison between Sales, Exim, Finance, Order Management, and Logistics teams.
  • Prepare freight and landed-cost estimates to support international sales pricing and quotations.
  • Manage sample shipments, including dispatch, tracking, customs clearance, and delivery.
  • Build and manage relationships with US Customs Brokers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouse partners.
  • Ensure accurate customs documentation, compliance, and timely clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor inventory across warehouses/3PLs and coordinate receiving, storage, transfers, releases, and deliveries.
  • Optimize routes, carriers, shipping modes, and logistics costs.
  • Track logistics KPIs, prepare reports, and drive cost, process, and service-level improvements.
  • Manage and guide a small logistics team as the function grows.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade, preferably with US import/export exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of US customs, import/export documentation, and Incoterms.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses.
  • Hands-on experience in freight/landed-cost estimation and logistics costing.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Experience with ERP/TMS or supply-chain systems.
  • Ability to work effectively across India–US time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field preferred.

Good to Have

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or TMS platforms.
  • Experience working with an India-based company exporting to the US.
  • Knowledge of HS classification, tariffs/duties, customs valuation, or FTZs.
  • Supply chain certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM.
