Role summary
You will own Scimplify’s Textile Specialty Chemicals business end to end: strategy, P&L, portfolio and growth across India and export markets.

Key responsibilities
  1. Build and run the P&L for the Textile Specialty Chemicals BU. Set revenue, margin and volume targets, and make it a leading business in the segment.
  2. Define the textile specialty chemicals portfolio across pretreatment, dyeing auxiliaries, printing and finishing chemicals (softeners, repellents, flame retardants). Work with R&D and sourcing to add new molecules and formulations.
  3. Win and grow key accounts among textile mills, processing houses and garment exporters in the major hubs: Tiruppur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Bhiwandi and Erode.
  4. Grow textile specialty chemicals exports to Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey and Sri Lanka, using Scimplify’s international network.
  5. Make sure the portfolio meets brand and sustainability standards (ZDHC, bluesign, OEKO‑TEX), and use those standards to win business with brand‑nominated suppliers.
  6. Build and lead the sales and technical service team. Set up application support so the team sells solutions, not just chemicals.
  7. Track pricing, competitors and raw material trends in textile specialty chemicals so the business can protect its margins.
